Almighty God of light and hope and healing,in this advent waiting time
wrap the power of hope around each of us.
Fill us with the expectancy of joy and love
and the miracle of the incarnation.
Let all your people know that you are with them.
Your love is being birthed anew throughout the world.
Wrap love and prayers us like swaddling clothes
and rock each of us in your nurturing care.
